Sloan Museum of Discovery and Lunch

We’ll be visiting the Sloan Museum of Discovery in Flint. There are five unique galleries inside the Sloan Museum. 

Hagerman Street - Early childhood learning gallery. Interactive child-sized neighborhood with roundabouts for tricycles, shops, and a charming three-story tree house. 

Durant Gallery, Vehicle Gallery - 11,000 square foot vehicle exhibition hall with rare collections of vintage and concept cars. 

History Gallery - Regional interactive history from the earliest inhabitants through history-in-the-making. 

Discovery Hall - Science gallery Hands-on learning that makes science fun, like the giant interactive Great Lakes water table, Earth Globe, and 10 other hands-on spaces. Fun 

Gallery, Exhibition Hall - 5,000 square foot exhibition space for special traveling exhibits -"Mazes & Brain Games" runs February 3-May 19, 2024. 

We will meet at the Sloan Museum, 1221 E. Kearsley St., Flint, MI 48503 at 10 am on Saturday, March 2. 

After spending a couple of hours at the Museum, we will head out for an interesting lunch in the area.

Admission is $11 to $14. As usual, invite your friends and family to join you.

Tied to the Sloan Museum, there is also the Longway Planetarium and the Applewood Estate. Those will be for a later time.  Click here to see the museum layout.
