Zelle® Payment - Quick Instructions

Why pay using Zelle®? - It works like an electronic version of a paper check and JAGM receives 100% of your payment with no credit card fees. You can still pay online with a credit card (not American Express due to higher fees) or by mailing a paper check. Click here for more details on all our Payment Options.

Caution! Paying with Zelle is like paying with cash. Only use Zelle from your own bank's website or smartphone app. There is no separate Zella app to install. 

QUICK INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1 - Register for JAGM event or New/Renew Membership and select Invoice Me.

When it's time to pay, if you click Pay Online, you will be directed to pay via credit card. Clicking Invoice Me allows to you pay using Zelle® or by mailing a paper check.

Step 2 - If you already have Zelle® enabled with your bank or credit union

Open your bank's website or app on your phone and select 'Send Money with Zelle® .' Send the amount from your invoice to treasurer@jagm.org. The money will be transferred from your checking account to our checking account in minutes.

Our treasurer will receive a notification of payment and will mark your invoice as paid.

TO ACTIVATE ZELLE

Check if your bank or credit union supports Zelle® for your personal account (they also support business accounts, but it will typically be your personal checking account that you connect to Zelle®).

• Visit https://www.zelle.com/get-started to see if your bank or credit union supports Zelle. Click on your bank's name to go to your bank's Zelle® activation page, or
• Visit your bank's website and search for Zelle® (sample pages: Chase, Huntington Bank, and DFCU Financial), or
• Speak to your bank directly and ask for assistance.

Important! Paying with Zelle® is like paying with a personal check. You only access Zelle® from inside your bank or credit union's website or app.
