This was the 40th annual Battle of the Brits Motorcycle and Car Show.
The weather was great, and the 15 JAGM members who attended enjoyed a perfect picnic day and brought a truly outstanding variety of Jaguars. How about this list, in order of age: an XK120, an XK140, an XK150, two E-Types, an XJS, an XK8, and an F-Type. I think we covered the two-seater Jaguar offerings from the late 1940’s through the present! And just to toss in a little variety our club members also brought a Mini and a Triumph Bonneville (this is primarily a motorcycle show, after all). There were also another half dozen Jaguars amongst the great variety of other British makes on the field.
This annual event is one of those easy, relaxed shows that affords us the opportunity to show off our own cars (and bikes) and explore and learn a little about plenty of others.
