National Museum of the Great Lakes, Tony Packo's & The Toledo Zoo

We will meet up at a Cracker Barrel Restaurant, then travel to the National Museum of the Great Lakes,

then to the original Tony Packo's for lunch followed by the Toledo Zoo, and return home from there. 

We will meet at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant (45525 N Interstate 94 Service Drive, Belleville) at 8:30 AM for breakfast and hit the road at 9:15 AM.

We should arrive at the National Museum of the Great Lakes (1701 Front St, Toledo) at about their opening time of 10 AM. Their Museum Building is filled with displays and stories of the Great Lakes. They have the largest ore carrier docked and it is open for tours. They also have a Lake Tugboat that is open for your touring. Everyone that I talked to, that has been there, has really liked it.  Admission is $14 to $17.

We will spend about 2 hours at the museum and then drive over to the original Tony Packo’s (1902 Front Street, Toledo) for lunch. After lunch, we will drive to the Toledo Zoo (2 Hippo Way, Toledo). We should be arriving around 1:30.

The Zoo gates close at 4:00 and everyone must be out by 5:00 PM. You will be on your own at the Zoo. Some people can see a zoo in 1 hour. Others need more time. Admission prices are $23 to $26.

We will be traveling expressways and moving right along. From our first Toledo stop to the last is only about seven miles.  Feel free to join us en route or drop out part way through. Feel free to invite your family, friends, neighbors, kids, and grandkids. Many people have thought of seeing these attractions. They just have not gotten around to it. Everyone should enjoy the day. Our cars are a means for good people to get together.
