Join JAGM and WDMGC for lunch at the auto themed Ford Garage Restaurant at 11:30 AM. Or you can join us at 1:30 PM at The Henry Ford Museum.

At the Henry Ford Museum, we will start with the massive collection of historic racing vehicles and memorabilia that tells the story of American motor-sports in a one-of-a-kind exhibit.

In addition to 26 vehicles from many types of racing, the exhibition includes an interactive film, information on the lives of famous racing figures and simulators to show what it’s like driving on some of the world’s most famous tracks.

The exhibit includes vehicles from many brands, including the 1988 Indy 500-winning Chevy-Penske, a 1956 Chrysler 300-B of the type that dominated NASCAR for years and the 1967 Ford Mark IV that Americans Dan Gurney and AJ Foyt drove to win Le Mans.

The 2016 Ford GT that also won Le Mans is also on display, along with a clay model from its development and a specially built car that shows how similar the racing and production versions were.

The massive exhibition covers about a third of the museum's 24,000 square feet of automotive display space.

Due to the pandemic, masks are required and capacity is limited to 1,500 people per day. Due to these capacity limitations, the museum is giving priority to its members. So, we recommend that you purchase your tickets early. You can purchase tickets online at https://www.thehenryford.org/visit/henry-ford-museum/. Tickets are $25 for adults, or $22.50 for seniors, plus $6 parking and $3 service fee per transaction.

Please RSVP on our website event page by April 9, so we can give an accurate count to the Ford Garage for lunch.
