My father and I started our first Jaguar restoration project 55 years ago - in the summer of 1966. It was a 1954 XK 120 MC from Texas that had been completely baked to a crisp in the hot sun. The burled walnut dashboard even looked beyond repair. But repair and refinish it we did and it turned out to be one of the most satisfying restoration projects my father and I did during the next 50 years. Of course, I have been hooked on Jaguars ever since.
