This is always one of my favorite weekends of the summer. Father's Day, a great car show, and our opening day for historic base ball at Greenfield Village; what’s not to like?
A highlight of the Motor Muster this year was Jack Valentine’s XK 120 FHC, looking sportier and faster than ever in the middle of the “ordinary”mid50’s cars all around it.
In the base ball match, my Lah-de-Dahs club came back from an early 7-1 deficit, almost (but not quite) catching up to the Eclipse Base Ball Club of Northville. The final score was 12-9.
Many thanks to my fan club, which grows every year. Someday it could reach double figures.
