Organized by Mike Bailey
The Caravan to Hickory Corners and the Mad Dogs and Englishmen, all British car show, has become an annual JAGM staple. This year there were eleven cars in the Caravan. After meeting up with everyone at the end of the drive, there were thirty-three in the group for the Barn Theatre's presentation of the musical "Bonnie and Clyde". Our longtime favorite ice cream shop in Olivet has new owners and their renovations were still in progress so an alternative stop was located. The former A&W Root Beer stand in Bellevue proved more than capable to satisfy the Caravan's participants. The drive would never be the same without the ice cream! Weather for the Car Show could not have been better. Bob Matejek supplied Easy-Ups (shuttled in his Jeep: no two-door Chevy this year) to shield everyone from the sun. As always, there were a plethora of British cars to view. JAGM was well represented with awards being taken by Mike & Kris, Jim & Steve, Lauren & Rick Ruiter, Chuck & Louise Diamond, Burt & Sandy and Mike Erspamer.
